Lake Delton
Lake Delton is likely the lake most are familiar with if they know Wisconsin Dells. If you ever saw a Tommy Bartlett, water ski show, you were enjoying time on Lake Delton. Lake Delton is 249 acres and carries a maximum depth of 16 feet. Fishing on Lake Delton will find you baiting that hook in anticipation of catching panfish, largemouth bass, northern pike, walleye and even catfish. There are plenty of public boat landings in which to launch your boat, as well as plenty of locations to fish from shore.
Blass Lake
Blass Lake is a 33-acre lake, with a maximum depth of 16 feet. This lake does have a public boat landing as well as areas to fish from shore. Finishing on Blass Lake will have you netting Panfish, Largemouth Bass and Northern Pike.
Lake of the Dells
Lake of the Dells is the smallest of the three lakes, at just 12 acres. This lake offers a maximum depth of just 8 feet, and will have both Panfish and Largemouth Bass circling your bait.
The Wisconsin River
The Wisconsin River is Wisconsin’s longest river, at a startling 430 miles long! And what city does that Wisconsin River run through? That’s right! Wisconsin Dells! A power dam divides the Wisconsin River in Wisconsin Dells. The area on one side of the damn is called the lower Dells, and on the other, the upper Dells. The upper Dells and lower Dells allow for great fishing as well! It has been said that the Wisconsin River in Wisconsin Dells is one of the hot spots for catching early season Walleye. In addition, your bait will wait patiently for the likes of white bass, catfish, smallmouth bass, northern pike and even lake sturgeon.
Devils Lake
Devils Lake: Just a short drive away from Wisconsin Dells is a quant town called Baraboo, and home to another lake for fishing. Devil’s lake is the largest and deepest, compared to the three Wisconsin Dells lakes. Devil’s Lake is 368 acres with a deepest depth of 47 feet. Fish, who live in Devil’s Lake, include walleye, largemouth bass, smallmouth bass, northern pike and brown trout. No motorized boats are allowed on Devil’s Lake, although small, non-motorized boats are okay. In addition, there are plenty of places from the banks to fish this wonderful lake!

Championship Golf in Wisconsin Dells
Wild Rock was designed by Michael Hurdzan and Dana Fry, the architects of Erin Hills, site of the 2017 U.S. Open. The course’s most notable topography is easily the old stone quarry with its rocky mounds and extreme elevation changes, giving it an almost desert-course feel. Two other landscapes define the course – a woodland area with stream and the sandstone ridges for which Wisconsin Dells is famous, and former farmland with iconic red barn still preserved. The 30-mile-away views to the quartzite cliffs known as the Baraboo Bluffs are also breathtaking. In fact, as the designers walked the land in late fall 2004 after the last of the leaves had fallen and saw that clear view, they changed the routing to feature the vista.
The greens are expansive, fast and true, and impeccably maintained, with five sets of tees to satisfy scratch golfers to resort guests. The Declaration bent grass comes through Wisconsin winters extraordinarily well, in turn setting up the greens for an early spring season.
The course is home to the Wisconsin State Golf Association’s Senior Tour Championship and will host the Wisconsin PGA Section Championship in 2016. The current course record is 65.
There is a full practice area with driving range, putting green and chipping bunker.
Wild Rock has two Class ‘A’ PGA professionals on staff and two PGA apprentices. The management team hires people who love golf and love talking golf. Group and private lessons are available.

DOA Room Escape
DOA goes above and beyond state regulation to ensure all of our staff and customers stay healthy this going forward. Therefore, a few more protective policies have been put in place to make everyone feel comfortable in our space.
Our Circus room will remain private bookings only (6 players max), 10 players in our Titanic room, and 8 players in our Twister room at a time. All staff will be required to wear a mask and be checked for a fever prior to each shift. Staff will be encouraged to wash hands in between each show as well as use hand sanitizer. For all customers, hand sanitizer will be made available before and after each show. For blended groups, customers will have the option to wear their own masks or purchase masks on sight.
For all rooms, a private booking option is available for a small upcharge- Check the “make this room private” box during checkout.
On a set schedule, we have a company that will be fogging the rooms and all the items which continuously kills viruses up to 90 days. We will be running less shows per day, to allow more time for sterilization of each room after each show.

Chapel Gorge Trail is a 1.8 mile loop trail located near Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin that features a river and is good for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for hiking, walking, running, and nature trips.

Echo rock trail on Mirror Lake
The Echo Rock trail at Mirror Lake State Park is a short and easy walking trail that leads to a point and overlook on Mirror Lake. The first leg of the trail is fully accessible, wide, and paved. This allows wheelchairs and strollers a smooth ride to the overlook. From there a wide dirt footpath leads down to the waters edge and encircles Echo Rock. The Trail continues on and passes a bridge which connects to Ishnalla trails on the other side of the bay. A short paved section of the trail returns you to the parking lot.
Mirror Lake State Park
Mirror Lake State Park is named for its centerpiece, a lake which often is so calm that not a ripple marks its surface. The lake reflects a wooded shoreline with cliffs up to 50 feet high, a swimming beach and wetlands that are home to a variety of wildlife. The park’s 2,200 acres include several picnic areas, wooded campsites, summer rentals and a cabin for people with disabilities.
Natural Bridge State Park
Natural Bridge State Park has a natural sandstone arch created by the eroding effects of wind and water. The bridge opening is 25 feet high by 35 feet wide. This weathered formation was missed by the glaciers during the last Ice Age. Near the bridge is a rock shelter used by native people when the glacier was melting, 11,000 years ago. The park is for day use only.

Roche-A-Cri
Roche-A-Cri State Park, established in 1948, protects a 300-foot-high rock outcropping and Native American petroglyphs and pictographs. The name “Roche-A-Cri” comes from French words meaning “screaming rock.” The park offers camping, picnicking, fishing and hiking trails with a stairway to the top of the mound. Native American petroglyphs and a wayside exhibit can also be viewed.

Driftless Glen Distillery
At Driftless Glen our goal is to make spirits just as unique as the people who taste them, so when we searched the country for a terroir harboring the grain and water necessary to make a matchless expression of bourbon and rye, we couldn’t ignore the Driftless Area in Wisconsin.
We didn’t choose our home for the Driftless Glen distillery. Rather we discovered a bountiful region rich with peat, bogs, an amazing aquifer, and uncommon sandy soil for our grains to grow in. Now people come from throughout the country to discover this region for themselves and tour the refined distillation and tasting experience we offer.
Our edge of the Driftless Area is known as Sand County, and is distinctive from the rest of the world because of the specific combination of temperature, water, soil, and weather and which all combine to form our remarkable spirits.
Come visit us on the banks of the Baraboo River, the longest mainstream restored free flowing river in America, and witness the masterful distilling process we use to bring our unique spirits to life.
We take pride in our refined double distillation process that includes a 10,000 pound, 44 foot tall column still along with our one-of-a-kind pot still. Using grain and water from the Driftless Region, we produce and barrel bourbon or rye daily, and we are always happy to demonstrate how important superior distillation is to us.

Prairie Hawk Winery
Alas, as with all things, the old barn finally gave up the ghost this past winter.
Currently we are dealing with the aftermath, so things may not be as pretty as we all would like, but we are fully accessible and winery functions continue as normal.
As with last year, all seating and tastings will be conducted outdoors on our covered patio.
Masking, sanitization, and distancing will be in full force, we want a safe and pleasant experience for each and every one of our old friends, and friends to be.
We should be bringing out several new selections this season, as well as the return of some our old favorites

Just outside the north entrance to Devil’s Lake State Park, longtime restaurateur Michelle Koehler, with the help of her partner Randy Scott opened this new type of establishment to the Baraboo area in September 2019. The stone buildings that make up Tumbled Rock Brewery & Kitchen sit on slightly more than 2 acres.

When you get yourself out into a field, swinging that metal detector, you will find that you are one with nature. While metal detecting your troubles are suddenly forgotten, and you find yourself enjoying the countryside with all of the sights, smells and sounds. You are cleaning up the world around you, finding buried treasure while getting some exercise and having a fun adventure in the fresh air at the same time. One never knows what you might find when you metal detect! A partially buried piece of shopping cart, a beer can, a diamond ring, old coins, what will you find?
There are so many ways to experience Wisconsin Dells. Wisconsin Dells is our favorite city for so many reasons. For starters, it is close by – Wisconsin Dells is located about an hour from Madison, a couple hours from the Minneapolis area and a half-day drive from the Chicago area – and there are multiple ways to experience Wisconsin Dells. With so many things to do in Wisconsin Dells, one cannot possibly experience them all in one visit.
